Proposal Request for New Community Partners
Request for Proposals to become a Community Partner
Would you benefit from having a team of University of Illinois students work on a project for your organization?
Consider applying to be a LINC Partner. LINC is a service learning course in which interdisciplinary teams of students work on projects for community organizations. Project topics are proposed by you – leaders of community organizations – and students work on projects under the supervision of LINC instructors. We are interested in long term relationships, allowing students to work with your organization on various projects for several semesters. Students earn course credit and valuable experience on a real project; partners receive the benefits of project work completed by students.
You may submit a proposal by completing the online form.

February 25 for Fall Semester course (August-December)
October 8 for Spring Semester course (January-May)
As a community partner, your commitment includes designating an individual from your organization as the project liaison and allowing time for the liaison to work with the student team and their instructor. This will involve an investment averaging 2-5 hours per week, varying with the specific size and stage of the project.
Selection of new partner organizations is done twice a year. If your proposal is selected, information about your organization and the project will be posted for students registering for the course.
